"Call from the Principal!"

We received an update by email yesterday. Unfortunately, not the kind we expected. It was the equivalent of getting a phone call from the Principal about one of your children misbehaving! Seems that both boys have been a little rebellious and misbehaving the last few weeks. We're told that this is very common to see when children find out they are being adopted. They have new parents who they see as the new authority figures, and therefore test the limits of the real authority at Casa Bernabe. We called the boys last night, and Dad got to have a chat with Isaac about their behavior. Very interesting thing to do 1000 miles apart! For those of you who don't know, we are planning on going back to Casa Bernabe to spend the holidays together with Isaac & Cristian. (Jimmi and Sasha will be in Gatlinburg with Sasha's family.) We are hoping to be able to do a few fun things with them off the campus, possibly even spend one night away from the orphanage if it can be arranged. However, Isaac & Cristian have been warned by Donie (the director of the orphanage) that if the behavior continues then they will not be allowed the privelege of doing those fun things! So....pray that they will start to behave they way they are supposed to! :) Thanks for sharing part of your day with us!
